Do buff orpington and Plymouth barred rock count for sustainable meat birds? That's what I'm raising for our meat this season. I haven't invested in the Bresse yet.

Those are both dual purpose breeds that historically have been used for meat, so they count as long as you're planning on eating them

Thanks! We might eat her, but probably not. We found her in terrible condition by the backroad of a farm. We’re sort of getting attached to her. Maybe I should un-enter her from the competition.
