One of my two lovely white holland hens.they look nearly identical, literally have to squint to tell them apart. This girl is slightly bulkier than the other, and they have different faces though.

White holland hen 2. Slightly daintier. Best full body pic of her I have- the two hens are constantly standing together, and like in the photo of Gal 1 where you can see her tail, this girl is often positioned behind the other hen. I took this one to a show in January. Turkeys are fun.
Transporting the turkeys(brought 2), and moving them from their crates to the show cage, then back, wasn’t fun. Their size makes everything a bit tricker. My tom also shoved his cage about 3 feet into the walkway at one point. As for the actual show, it went well. The white holland hen got champion turkey out of a group of 3, and my tom got reserve. Showing turkeys is definitely an experience though. Tricker than chickens.Pretty girls! How did the show go? I've never brought turkeys to a show myself, just chickens and ducks.

This is "Chicken" a 10 week old, female coturnix quail (color is Blue Italian Tuxedo) but she was a solid yellow chick (hence the name!). Hatched from a batch of eBay eggs and our first experience keeping poultry of any sort (we're addicted!).
