Love it!! Juicy babies, right???

Yup! A month old today and they are almost as big as momma!

I had about five eggs under a broody, then I had a broody pigeon with two dud pigeon eggs. I felt bad for her, so I gave her one of the silkie's eggs. I'm so glad I did because the next day, a bad egg exploded on the silkie's remaining eggs!
The pigeon hatched the chicken eggs a couple days later and she raised it. It was the cutest thing

I remember that. You are the reason that I look differently at pigeons now. I never realized they could be so beautiful!

This is 2 yr old cuckoo Orpington, Buster Posey, with her adopted chicks, two EEs and a blue Wyandotte. Buster has been such a wonderful mama. She took the chicks without hesitation and even gives them hugs.

This is Sis' first clutch. She has six, and is doing a great job!

First night my OEG banty "Little" decided they were all sleeping in the big coop...still not sure how she got them 5 feet up to that perch!
