Stella my little bantam cochin from last week. She's a trooper though. Been through single digits with her bare chest and bum! I feel so bad for her. Thank goodness she has some full sized hens to sleep next to at night.

There are some pretty amazing molt pictures, but I'm not entering because (1) my chickens, although they ALL molted and stopped laying, had an amazingly mild molt - no ugly ducklings among them, and (2) they're over their molts and looking pretty amazing at this point, all fluffy and beautiful and HOPEFULLY will start laying soon because they went on an egg-production strike as they molted.
