Entry #4

My final entry here addresses my most recent hobby, riding my electric bicycle. As with all my hobbies, this involves family and close friends. My sons all have their own preferred electric toys. Tony has an electric mountain bike while Michael and Rob have electric scooters. The following photos were taken as we were out on various rides on some hiking and biking trails nearby.

This is my ebike. It's the Senada Archon model.

Rob and I were out on a recent ride. We stopped on the path along the shore of Cheadle Lake to stretch our legs and to enjoy the scenery.

Here's a shot of me during a ride across town to another trail system. There are ducks swimming in the creek to my left but they aren't visible in this picture.

This picture was taken just last weekend. Tony, Rob and I spent the afternoon riding and stopped here while Rob flew his drone to test his video camera along the train trestle. It worked great. I may have to pick one up for myself as a new hobby. Time will tell.

Hobby 1: Pottery

In October, I first tried out a pottery class and it was so addicting. I love using all I know about watercolor to decorate the pieces. The only sacrifices I made (I guess) is the insane amount of money for the class, but it is so fun I don't really care.

Here are a couple ceramic pieces That I have with me at the moment.
(It takes quite a long time to get to take the ceramics home.)

This first cup is one of the first ones I made so it is a little lumpy.

This is a Bird bath that I am working on, I just finished painting the birds on and it is ready to be fired.

Beautiful!

Oh this is a good contest for me lol. I could literally spend all day every day working on my hobbies. I love tedious. I love nit picking. I like being creative.

So first entry is my bill paying hobby. I've been a dog groomer professionally for about 7 years. Worked at a salon for 3 of those then opened my own shop at home. I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I love dogs. I love that I don't have to leave my house every day. Limited human interactions lol. I love that it makes me feel like a serve a purpose and give back to the community. I love that I get to express my creativity. And I like to think that I'm pretty good at it these days! So I am going to try to upload some before and after pics.

Entry #1

Succulent collecting and growing! I love succulents, especially little ones. I enjoy how cute they are, and I like how I can multiply them easily. Some of them spend most of their time on the windowsill, and some prefer more shaded areas. I also like not having to water them super often. I’m not very good at encouraging them to grow yet, but hopefully I’ll get better.

1.
My favorite hobby is horseback riding. I love it because it's therapeutic and I love horses, and because I can't own one of my own, it's a good alternative. I take beginner lessons on a beautiful paint mare. I also went on 2hr trail ride yesterday.

Question:
I don't have any pictures that I took, but I do have some that someone else in my family took pictures? Also, is it ok if I scribble out my face?
Yes it’s fine to use a picture that someone took of you and you can remove your face from the picture if more comfortable. You just can’t use a random picture pulled off google 😉
