Thanks to my hobby with gardening I just got a new hobby canning! Just water bath canning for now….

My hobby, the favorite of late, is playing kalimbas!
These charming instruments, also called thumb pianos, originated in Africa but have evolved into more modern designs. They are easy to play, intuitive actually. It doesn’t take much knowledge or effort to create basic kalimba music. Kalimbas are perfect for long winter evenings sitting in front of the fire. My husband and I spend a lot of time jamming together. It is a meditative experience, good for relaxation and stress release.

I really like to draw. I have been drawing my whole life, but I only got serious about 5 years ago. I even took a drawing course at my college.
I recently started getting into ink drawings as well, and realized that I actually really enjoy that.
