Those sunflowers!

I absolutely love Sunflowers and I am in the process of making a zillion of these Sunflower squares to make a cardigan the biggest project I've done so far

I really like to draw. I have been drawing my whole life, but I only got serious about 5 years ago. I even took a drawing course at my college.
I recently started getting into ink drawings as well, and realized that I actually really enjoy that.
Here are a couple of my most recent drawings.

Chicken-keeping!
I love everything about this hobby, it has so many benefits!
It's fun getting out and seeing the chickens every day.
The biggest sacrifice I make is probably listening to the neighbors' rants.
I've been keeping chickens for a year and 1/2 so I would say I'm intermediate. I'm not an expert, but I do know the basics.
I do breed and sell chicks, however it isn't my real job.

(Sorry about my roo in the photo, he's looking a little scrawny during his molt!)

Blogging!
I love this hobby, it's a great way for other people to know about my chickens and to learn more about chicken-keeping!
I write an article every week.
I would say time is the biggest sacrifice for this one.
I've been blogging for about a year and it's been a great experience.

Painting!
It's one of the greatest joys of life.
I love to paint in my free time on weekends.
Again, time is the sacrifice for this one.
I'm not Picasso expertise but I think my paintings are okay.

My hobby, the favorite of late, is playing kalimbas!
These charming instruments, also called thumb pianos, originated in Africa but have evolved into more modern designs. They are easy to play, intuitive actually. It doesn’t take much knowledge or effort to create basic kalimba music. Kalimbas are perfect for long winter evenings sitting in front of the fire. My husband and I spend a lot of time jamming together. It is a meditative experience, good for relaxation and stress release. View attachment 2891018
