My hobby is budgie breeding
What is it that you love about this hobby? All the colors they come in
When do you do the Hobby? Spring and summer
What sacrifices do you make to be able to practice your hobby? My health as I'm servely allergic to the dust
Are you an amateur? An adept? An expert? Id say I am an expert at it been breeding since 2009
Are you lucky enough that this hobby is part of your job/income? Sorta I also take videos and post them to youtube and have 50k subscribers and get paid with google adsence just enough to buy more feed. I sometimes will sell some but I only breed for my own generation line these days. Heres one of my current budgies View attachment 2891807 and heres one of my past budgies his name was Gnomeo View attachment 2891812
Your yellow face in the first picture looks a lot like my Hershey baby!!! What do his tail feathers look like?? 🤔

This is Betsy, my 57 Chevy. I got her in 1977 when I was 15 1/2. Couldn't drive yet so sat in her in the back yard and cleaned her up and pretended to drive. I would love to do more work on her but it is expensive and hard to find someone to work on these old cars anymore.
She’s beautiful!!!! Kudos for giving her such a good home all this time!!!

I thought this might be fun to share! My “hobby” is more like a lifestyle lol. I have been doing wildlife rescue for 8+ years here in South Africa. I love that I never know what bird or animal will end up with me to recover before being rehabilitated and sent out. I also love the amazing people who share my passion that I get to meet all over the world. Here are just a few of the many, many animals that have come through our doors:
:bowI did wildlife/raptor rehab and education during high school! My main bird was a great horned owl who was blinded after being hit by a car. I even had my senior pictures taken with her!!!!
I thought I had save one of the pictures in my phone but couldn’t find it 🙄 I will have to add later.

Entry 2 - Sewing
Another Hobby I learned from my Grandma Honey. I enjoy sewing very much. I make stuffed animals, blankets, towels, pillow cases, holiday items, Mug Rugs & placemats, bowl cozies and I'm constantly learning and growing.
Every holiday & Birthday I make something for everyone.
Sewing is becoming a “lost art” you are very talented!!!! That’s a very good skill/hobby to have and pass down through generations!!!! I wish I had paid more attention and learned more from my mom and grandma!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hobby #2:

I also like to collect coins. I am aiming to collect all the coins from all the years. (All the coins in circulation.) My coin book is quite heavy. I nearly dropped it the other day!
I record what coins I have on Excel. Red means I don't have it, green means I have it, yellow means none made in that year: except the ones for selling in the mint gift shop. Purple means I have one not intended for circulation.

I have a few coins that I have saved through the years but not nearly your collection!!! 😵 I tried incentivizing my youngest with gold dollars and he still has around 40 of them but never got “the bug” to get serious about it.

My hobby is playing the harp, I’ve always wanted to play the harp, I remember being 6 years old and asking my parents if I could play the harp. There weren’t teachers available where I lived, and there wasn’t too many information so I couldn’t learn back then. So I started playing when the pandemic and lockdown started, at the age of 31. I wish I had more time to practice. I encourage everyone that wants to start playing the harp or any other instrument, it’s awesome and never too late, do it!!
