I was thinking about doing a drawing but anything I could churn out would pale in comparison to that gourd. I find it hard to get motivated, but there's still a chance. I bet others are working on things though. Enjoy your popcorn, and be patient

I want a calendar. Ode to my first ever chickens.


Gourd with rooster and hen woodburned then painted with ink dyes and acrylics. Egg-shaped frame is eggshells from my two Olive Egger hens glued on. The rim is raffia to evoke the feeling of a nest.

That's gourdgeous! Ok, I just had to put that down.

But seriously...that's quite fantastic. I still want to look this art up....very cool!
