I love all these hobbies!

So I LOVE to bake. I actually have some homemade croissants going in the oven right now! I really like to bake French stuff, I went to France last October and I have been inspired! (Thus the croissants) I had this dessert called “ispahan” when i was there and then i recreated it at home (there’s also a strawberry tart)

I also make really good French macarons, it took me quite a bit of time to perfect those, super fun to play with flavors, so far i have tried lavender and honey, strawberry, chocolate, chocolate peanut butter, and rose water.

I don’t have any good pictures of them all put together currently, I guess i’ll Just have to make them again:idunno. I enjoy making cakes but I only make those for occasions, the last cake I made was a lemon chiffon cake, lemon cake, lemon curd filling, lemon Italian meringue buttercream!

Okay, I have to tell you about my obsession with chocolate. Over the summer I took a class at the institute of culinary education in NYC, on bean to bar chocolate. We made chocolate from a bean and I went home with ten bars of good quality chocolate. So now I am saving up my money to buy a chocolate melanger (for crushing the cocoa beans), If anyone else is interested in this topic I reccomend the book Bean to Bar chocolate by Megan Giller, she helped teach ther chocolate class!

Here are some more pics of my baking:
