This is our Lavender Tailed Araucana hen. Lavender is the original colour. She's 6 years old now and no longer lays. I can't wait for our littlies to grow up so I can see how they turn out. The Tailed Araucana have a crest, beard and muff, plus a tail of course.
Our older chicks are just over a month old now. We have Partridge, I think a few Blue Wheatens (one with a straight comb - a throwback to whatever was crossed in to give the colour I assume), and someone's project Birchens (and a Splash from the Birchen eggs). The 2 older Birchens both have lots of white on them, so hopefully there are some nice ones in the 6 younger ones I hatched.

We have some more Birchen chicks who are younger, 1 Lavender and 2 I think will turn out to be Golden Duckwings.
