I feel really bad. The first sign was she was sleeping on the floor, but by that time I almost couldn't pick her up without putting my hands in maggots as the maggots had ate away so much of her.

I am so sorry. It seems like fly strike has been just awful almost everywhere this year and it happens so FAST! I've had flies eat a dogs ear bloody raw in 1 day. Not your fault at all.yeah... I had my neighbor put her down because she had really bad fly strike. I didn't find it until she wouldn't really stand or roost anymore. I felt auful.
