Official BYC Poll: How many chickens do you have?

We have 18 in all. Eight teenagers, 1 RIR, 2 eastereggers, 2 cuckoo marans, 1 buff orpington, 1 silkie and 1 cinnamon queen. 2 pullets not laying yet which are a delaware and a barred rock. Grown are 2 welsummers, 1 easteregger, 1 RIR, 1 black sexlink, 1 white something and 2 banams.

Started with 6 last year but lost 2 so got 6 more this Spring but only the 4 one year olds are laying at this point. 10 is going to be our max (I hope-but I also said I would only have one cat in the house and I have three)

25 in the adult coop
28 in the brooder that will be 5 weeks this coming Saturday
That is 54 chickens total.

So does other poultry also count? I have 1 Peacock, Phoenix, and his lady love, Lola (peahen).

16 one year old laying hens and 3 chicks that are 5 weeks old!

We have 15 Barred Rock Hens. They are living it up in their new coop that we just finished. We will post coop pictures real soon.

7 at my house and 7 at my moms. 43 eggs in the incubator

At this time I have 8 layers, 5 chic' from 15-10 wks old for chickens which are quite additive

. 2 new Pekin Ducks that were given to me as a gift for Easter. I'm still trying to decide if it was a gift or a burden.

I am now officially a new chicken owner.

I have 30 chicks and 4 Royal Palm poults. Of the 30 there are 15 CX and the rest are EE & Black Australorps. It's gonna be fun!
