I need to get up and go check the incubator. I'm so used to having hatches a day or so early that I'm getting spoiled. Are you guys setting for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? Recently I had a coworker refer to the holiday this year as being a nice 3 day weekend. I got confused and went to check the calendar. 4 day weekend. Then I found out her Christmas is one Christmas Day.

For me, Christmas is mainly on Christmas Eve and the next morning is addon with a nice dinner. I think it's the way my family always did things. I am continuing to not buy and set eggs. I'm surprised at my resolve in the matter.

Decided to try my hand at incubating so only put a dozen or so eggs in
for the first time. Should come off December 22.
Now I have a great excuse to skip all the Christmas get togethers.

Well, I had 2 more days to get eggs to join in, but doesn't look like its going to happen... fingures crossed maybe I'll do a New's Years hatch.
