When will this contest end? "Once we're past the moulting season" doesn't mean much to me, since I am in the UK and also since my chickens decide to moult at any time they like! A season? They laugh in my face when I mention it

One of mine is half-feathered, so I might enter her, but the group have been moulting all summer at various points!
 
This is Phoebe, my 10 month old bantam cochin Frizzle. Poor Phoebe. She's not a model Frizzle to begin with, but now she's just really pathetic.

This was Phoebe when she was a little more respectable looking (with her sisters, Monica & Rachel in March & June, respectively):

My poor bald Australorp hen has looked pitiful for over a year. Bald backed from being over roostered.......she is finally molting. I missed the worst of it.
