Although I am not affiliated with any pagan group I follow a secular way of believing that includes paganism. I am interested to see and study any and all beliefs an to obtain the truth inherent in each of them.

I dont know anything about Pagans,& I dont mean to jump thread. I just wanted to add (thought it might be interesting). I recently read in a book called (Mysterious places of North Eastern United Stated) that the Salem witch histeria may have started becouse of a mold that had grown in there grain supply that year. It all started when childen started having convultions (fits). The mold kept people from thinking clearly. They needed some one to blame so they started a mass witch hunt. I'm not saying Paganism didn't exist then. It did, and it became a target.............Just wanted to share that little tid bit... PEACE!

I, too, am not affiliated with any particular pagan group, but I lean heavily toward earth-centered spirituality. I LOVE my linear earth calendar (you can see a picture at the link below). It's been a new, eye-opening way to experience Time. The seasons, from solstice to equinox or vice versa, spread across my wall showing the progression of the sun and the sky, the earth and sea life. To me, it is flowing, beautiful, and poetic. So different from the chopped up months in boxes of days. I discovered it, 3 years ago, at my local food co-op.

I'm also a beginner at practicing permaculture. And I'm interested in finding the wisdom in many beliefs. Wohneli said it better than I did.

I don't see a 2010 calendar to buy... am I missing something? Beautiful!

I'm also not affiliated with any pagan group and also lean towards earth-centered spirituality.
I tend to be Christ conscious, and reflect on his teachings of love, forgiveness, giving and tolerance.
I find peace in natural beauty... a body of water, a desert or a forest... the sound of the wind, birds, pine cones falling... the texture of leaves, sand or wrinkles

... a smile... a laugh.
Sometimes I can gain consciousness while dreaming and direct the course of them. I find it interesting in the morning to recall the things I do when I am untethered from fear.

I'd like to learn more about taking my spiritual self through the seasons of the earth... if that makes sense?
I do like rituals, but as of yet, do not practice any consistently. Something I would like to change.

I look forward to learning more about you all.

Just wanted to let you all I know that I am enjoying this thread and reading/taking notes. I lean more toward the Ba'hai faith myself but love, love, love learning about different paths of spirituality.

Oh, you're right, I think they haven't updated that website in a while. Let's see, I have the 2010 wall calendar, but I got it at PCC in Seattle. So, I see the 2010 is for sale on Amazon. Good price, too!

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/07...ils?ie=UTF8&me=&qid=1263323414&sr=8-1&seller=

But wait there's a complaint in the comments. So if I were going to order it, I'd contact the seller to make sure they will send you the wall calendar - 4 wall panels similar to the picture on the web page below:

If you can't get it from them, PM me. I'll check if PCC still has them in the store, so I can pick one up for you.

ETA: the link for Amazon

I can have my source pick one up at the Seattle PCC for me! Is it the one in Fremont?

Why aren't you in the Washingtonians thread... or are you, and I'm having a bit of brain flatulence?

One of my daughters is Wicca, and while I go to a Baptist church, there is a piece of me that just embraces this/these beliefs. I so believe in the Mother Earth and how she controls things, that I need to research it a little more. One of the sermons in church on Sunday several months ago was how Christianity had faltered but Wicca rose 126% the past year. I thought that was very interesting. I LOVE the idea of good spells.

Although, I am going to confess something, and if the moderators want to take it out, that is fine. It's not really bad, but one time I had an ex bosses husband call me and my co workers absolutely filthy names for something I did, and we all quit. I was so furious at this man for doing this to my friends who had nothing to do with my mistake (and it wasn't earth shattering either, just got my floor schedule mixed up) that I wanted DD to put a spell on him, just a harmless but aggravating one. Itchy butt. Not just in private, but one of the worst itchy butts he ever experienced in his life. But, she refused, as bad spells come back on you tenfold and I didn't want that. But, it was funny after I calmed down and thought about it. Can you imagine on a scale of 1-10 an itchy butt, that was like a 15!!!!

Actually, it's West Seattle. But, I imagine they'd carry it in all their stores.

I posted in Washingtonians, just a couple times, I think. But, OMG what a fast-moving thread, I haven't been able to keep up w/it!
