Are his parents that tall? He is very beautiful I am guessing you are going to keep him for breeding since he is so tall? It is amazing how beautiful he is after just 5 months!

His mother is very tall, the father is normal, but this I have to say with some precaution as he is a direct offsring of the imported birds. Due to the climatic change all imported birds are got a small stop in growing and so maybe they are not all as tall as they could be.

No, I will not keep him. I don't have space for him. But he is not the only one, this brother is equal and all others which are actually younger are growing very similar.

On the last Sunday, 10/26/2014 I used the sunny autumn weather just make some pictures of my green peafowl. When I then looked at the pictures on the PC I realized when I was viewing these pictures again how beautiful they are and even if they are in the middle of the molting season.
Unfortunately, you get used to it time by time and sometimes you are not aware anymore what jewels you have.
