Good job Kelley! I was wondering bout that thermometer too. I saw how it was against her little neck. How is the baby doing? Starting to settle on her tummy?

Yes, she is settling down on her belly. We now have 2 more pips! I'm not sure if they decided to pip on their own or if Pippen's bowling helped it along.

Yup, that's right, she (wishful thinking) already has a name! I started calling her Pippen when I was cheering her on.

I had to move Pippen into the brooder...she was pecking at the newly hatched baby. I don't think it was anything malicious, but she (

) had a little blood on her nose...maybe from the egg shell rolling around??? But I'd rather be safe than sorry.

#3 showed up a little while ago...

I moved #2 to the brooder..it was pecking at the new baby. Now its sprawled out asleep with Pippen!
