Not a dummy at all!

Yes, when they first crack the shell, it's called a pip. When they continue to crack around the shell, that's called zipping. If you go to the Halloween Hatch day thread on pg. 58 CK Chickadilly has posted some really neat pictures...kind of a step by step

I have one more pipped and 2 that are still intact. I can't tell if they're peeping at all because all of the others are right nextdoor in the brooder!

I'm a bit concerned with the one that's pipped...the other's were tossing it around quite a bit.

We'll see!
