This made my blood boil. 'May just be out catting'? Well if you want your 'baby' back, you'd either get him neutered, (I saw a few weeks ago free neutering), or keep him inside if you can't afford it. We have road island reds, a classic hearty new england laying hen known for it's temporment, aurichanas, the Easter egg bird known for its beautiful multi-color eggs, and black ostrolopes, which hold the world record for their laying capabilities and beautiful black feathers. All of our birds have been raised using organic free-ranging technics, are about 3months old and almost ready to lay.

We are a small farm in nobleboro maine.

A: Spell check people! I know temperament can be a temperamental word to spell, but let's at least get breed names correct. I mean, arichana???

B: Being from a small farm, don't you think they should know (in addition to the correct spelling of their breeds) that 3 months old is not actually that "almost ready to lay".?
