I thought it was just me having never seen the breed! But they really do look so strange.

Also sorry for all the ads and especially all the rooster ads, I was just looking for a roo/mostly just seeing what was on there and there are some funny ones

Can think of a ton of problems and no advantages to the renter. Who knows what the rooster could come back with and if he can't have any roosters, what is he going to do with the cockerels he hatches out? You know he could get 100%.

Right!? All I kept thinking of was that his flock could harm the roo or he could harm them during pecking order stuff (and a week or two isn't really long enough to get that sorted and start mating), they could hate him and not even mate, but also diseases!! He could introduce diseases to this guys flock or this guys flock could introduce diseases to the roo or both. Just not really a good idea... plus selling the cockerels like you said. Which btw why does he even want to hatch eggs? Would be better off just buying chicks or even hatching eggs if he really wants to hatch. No need to borrow a roo lol or buy a roo and get a no crow collar

Probably doesn't have a lot of chook experience. It's done with dogs and horses and all sorts. Probably doesn't realize it's not a "chicken" thing, We city slickers don't know a lot of things.

Very true! I hadn't thought of that, you're probably right. and having a rooster ordinance he probably is near or in the city. although so am i but still haha good point
