As far as I know, eating horse meat is not illegal but for a long time it was illegal to slaughter them in this country. Setting up a slaughtering plant is not easy. Not many years ago someone was trying to get permits for a horse slaughtering plant in Mountain Grove, MO. There was so much opposition that it never went through. One of the big issues is getting a USDA inspector for the carcasses.Eating horse is illegal in most states.Honestly I would eat it if legal.

I'm new at hearing this term "Showgirl". Is it possible for a Showgirl to be a rooster, or should they be called Showboy? Again, I'm new at hearing the term and really think they look like Silkie Turken crosses...Poodle chicken (Ngl I wish I could've gotten him)
