I advertise on craigslist.

I was mentioning hatching eggs and that I had orloffs in my flock. I put that this was a very rare breed.
The next day I get a call
Guy: yeah uh, was calling about the hatching eggs, the rare ones?
Me: The Orloffs? Sorry i just had to change my add to show they are currently unavailable, I need to build up my flock some more now.
Guy: oh, ok. will you have any again soon?
me: I am not sure when I will have more, but probably not this season
Guy: ok, well umm, you sure? Cause I want some uh what was the breed name again?
Me: Orloffs... do you know anything about the breed?
guy: no, i just want to raise some to sell 'em since they're rare and expensive
Me: Do you know anything about raising chickens?
Guy: i had a couple yard hens years ago
me: what happened to them
Guy: dunno
Me: ok, I don't think i'll be comfortable selling orloff eggs to you. You can get online and check for other breeders, but I suggest you start with a more common breed form a hatchery and read up on their care and breeding before you start.
guy: you know anyone else who raises 'em birds?
Me: I am not sure, you have to look it up, but i do not know if any breeder of these rare breeds would be any more willing to sale to someone who's inexperienced, either.
guy: ok... can you text me their name again?
Me: no
guy: oh well, what s their name again?
me: *sighs* orloff.
Guy: ok... and what are they?
me: i need to go *click*


I get some strange calls.

Oh I got this other call yesterday while I was out. I had taken my mother to get her monthly IVIG treatments at the hospital.

I came home and got a message that some guy called about 11:30 about the PC I had up for sale on Craigslist

I called him back at 2:00 pm , and he gave me this long sigh when I mentioned the computer

Man: I got 'dis other 'un
Me: I'm sorry? Did you say you you got a disco gun? (I as not being sarcastic, I honestly couldn't understand him)
man, impatiently: no! I said I found an other PC. I really NEEEDED one 'dis morning when I called, i 'dun need it no more (he actually sounded accusitory, as if I was some old friend who betrayed him)
me: oh! Well, glad you found another one then-
he hangs up

9 week old chicks. I have about 50 or so. Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks and some Barnyard mix. Pullets $7 each and Roosters $6 each. They all will lay large brown egg. Home phone . Thank you for looking and have a great day.

If his 9 week old roosters lay a large brown egg, they are definitely worth $6 each.
