Correct me if I am wrong but I thought a gilt was a castrated male pig?! If I am correct that worries me what other than a real pig the are selling....

A gilt is a young female pig. A barrow is a castrated male. A boar is an intact male and a sow is a mature female.

What gets me is the ad says "pasture raised" pasture usually mean a diet of grass of which I see no grass.

So I saw this one on the local CL today...

Horse in need of a resqu ranch (Eagle point butte falls highway)
It's sad to say but it is time to close the doors on my resqu ranch.I have one last mare that need another home. She is a roan draft mare 10 years old CAN NOT BE RODE.She may in time could carry a foal. she was attacked by a couger and her 2 cubs last year. after 85 stiches and a lot of butterflys she is healed and abble to walk again . She needs time and weight, gets along great with every thing. Just can't aford the run the ran what little money I am making.

This "resqu" has been running ads asking for donations on and off for months. Okay, I can see how hard it is to run a rescue in this economy. But for a rescue to actually ENCOURAGE breeding of one of their rescue animals!! This just absolutely floors me. It would be like the humane society saying "we have this pretty female pit bull. She's not useful for anything but boy could she crank out the puppies for you!".

Puppy he is a male mastador 7 wks and loves to play very smart already for his age and a big boy.. keep in mind he will be a big boy when he is full grown so please if you don't got room please don't bother .. call or text only .. there is a REHOMOING FEE...

Nothing wrong, Its a mastiff labrador mix. Just a bad name , just like shih tzu -bulldog mixes. You know you call them bull s...
