We went to an estate sale and they had 2. I picked which one I wanted. They sold the first and it went for like 5 bucks. Then I got into a bidding war with another lady for the second one. But I brought it home!

So much wrong with that ad... It's not an Araucana, it likely not 'organically' raised if they are foraging for stuff in what is likley an uncontrolled environment and it lays peach eggs, meaning it lacks the blue egg gene altogether... It's just a $5 barnyard mix house chicken, nothing more...

As I said it's not an Araucana, it's not even half Araucana as it lacks the blue egg gene that is dominant and thus would express itself in any hybrid or half breed...
