I thought BROAD-BREASTED turkeys cannot breed naturally, and need to be slaughtered before they get too big?

I would hate to be the poor person who bought these, only to find out they can't raise turkeys from them!

There are two kinds; Standard Bronzes and Broad Breasted Bronzes. I would assume (like cornish crosses) that most of the Broad Breasted can't breed but some can.

Anyone need Guinea fowl?

http://spokane.craigslist.org/grd/2496485986.html

Up to 20 very healthy and very beautiful straight run (sexing not possible until they reach 1 yr or so) pearl guinea fowl available for immediate sale - my happy home may depend on it. These guys are doing a great job of insect eating, so they are a success story in the barnyard and fields and yard, just not in the house. They sleep in the orchard which is VERY near our house, and I swear to all the bird gods they wake up at the stroke of first light (we're talking 4:30 am here folks) and are determined to also wake everybody else too in their morning verification that they are all each individually ok and each one's very vocal celebration of the great new day! All my chickens are red-eyed and irritable and give me dirty looks every time they see me. My family is threatening their safety (and mine!). The mini horses have taken to chasing them every time they see them! Can we say just a tad NOISY? The last time I had guineas the chicken house was much farther from the house, so it worked great, but these guys are just too close for comfort.

Seriously, they are great animals doing just what they are supposed to do - be watch birds and insect eaters - I guess the problem is they are just too good at what they do, you know? If you have the right space for them, they are great to have around and really do eat their weight in bugs in fields and yards. The only catch is you gotta give me 24 hours after you make a firm commitment to buy some, because they are SO FAST they can only be caught in the dead of night . . . and hurry, ok? If you choose to take all of 'em, I'll make you a deal and sell the whole bunch for $140.00 - you can call 258-7003 anytime (god knows I'll be awake, thanks to the guineas!) before dark o'clock at night.

Hahahahaha. I wrote a similar ad last year.. And now my DH wants guineas again so I'll make sure to write something like this when they start standing on our front lawn hollering at the neighbors at 4AM..
