Maybe the barred rocks are hiding? You know, they could be shy...not that I've noticed any shyness in ours, especially when there's food involved...or the possibility of food...or there if there had been food sometime in the not-too-distant past! LOL

I caught 3 gophers in my backyard and I don't have the heart to kill them. They were all captured humainly and kinda cute in a weird way.

Excellent for teachers or people with kids...you can make a rodent ant farm or something.

please take them, or I will release them somewhere away from my house
