When I first met my girlfriend, she always talked about how she wanted a hippo. Last summer, I shipped one in from Africa, thinking they were some obiese, hairless breed of dog. We had no idea Jenna would get this big...

There is a small rehoming fee to ensure she gets a good home. She needs her teeth brushed twice a day, and would prefer a heated-inground pool so she can swim all winter.

WARNING: She tends to fling her **** all over the house, we have learned the hard way. When she stands at the back door, let her outside!

She will come with her pink tooth brush (do not use any other color as she will bite.) She needs to be fed, ALOT. She gets 3 watermelons a day, plenty of hay, special hippo pellets, lots of fruit, and loads of breed. (she loves sesame buns, but will attack if you do not take off all the seed) She will also come with her matress. She loves dogs, please NO kids. She has eaten both my niece and my neighbor's grandson. I repeat.. please, NO kids. (the last part was a joke... both got away and recovered)


This is real, please stop emailing me with this question. Serious people only.. she creently lives in a heated barn/enclosure.

Well, I just posted an ad on craigslist looking for a couple chicks to give to my broody silkie, and here it is:

My silkie is broody and I'd like to let her raise some chicks, but none of the eggs she's been on are fertile, so I'd like to buy a couple chicks for her to raise, preferably less than a week old. Send me an email if you have any available!

And, this is the only reply I've gotten:

I have a couple dozen a day. whitehall Rick at [number removed] after 9:30 am. Two dollars a dozen.

Two dollars a dozen for chicks!? That's a steal More likely he just didn't read my ad and is trying to sell me eggs...even though I quite clearly have my own chickens

I mean why post pics of birds that look a mess. Mine in their worst molt have never looked that bad. If the seller is a fellow BYCer....ummmm sorry but I suggest lowering the price WAY down or wait to try to sell them until they look 100 times better. Egads.

I know you are probably relieved that he finally broke that old, dirty, rusted, chain. Just in case there was a tiny bit of compassion in your heart as to what happened to him even though you did not so much as post an ad on here or a flyer anywhere around this area, he is safe now. I can bleach my bathtub that FILLED with blood, I can wash my sheets that he slept on, and I can treat his fleas with medication, not quite sure what your "excuse was but it is irrelevant now. Just so you know, I threw his previously green collar that turned black from oil/grease/dirt/blood in the garbage! Oh and another thing, he has been in my house for over 24 hours and goes to the door every time he needs to potty, must have been hard to get up and let him out huh? Not that you are worried but his life on a chain is over! When I called the vet and described his condition she said "hmm sounds like they don't need him back" I have to say that I agree!! He is the most amazing dog, he loves kids, dogs, and even cats! You must have kept him chained because he was so hard to handle? Anyways just wanted to let you know how he was doing............
