I grew up with a stepdad that hunted, had his own sportsman's club for decades. Mounted game is a big part of my childhood memories.

Also - it is an art. I have seen some amazing things that look life like by some of the best in the business.

Freaky-deaky-doo. My mom had her trophy deer head hanging in my bedroom when I was a kid. I used to hide under the covers so that thing couldn't look at me. My cousin was always afraid that the rest of the deer was on the other side of the wall somewhere. TOOO SCARY.

LOL!!! Looks like something I'd do just to creap people out. We have 1 elk, 2 deer, multiple deer horns, a fish, and a javelina (wild pig from texas). The pig is the scariest. I love scaring my friends.

I dont have a problem with that ad at all or any chicken. I think they are lovely and a real conversation piece and a kitchen table masterpiece!

I am not crazy about Silkies but if they can do it better, I am sure they would look beautiful! Even the WHITE ones!

A good taxidermist is a rarity at best and they can charge couple hundreds of dollars to have a chicken stuffed.

If I had a very lovely hen, I would not mind having her as a kitchen table piece, sitting on a wire nest basket with my blown out eggs of different colors.

I had a rooster years ago that was absolutely gorgous..If I'd been able to keep him (my town did allow chickens, but no roosters), I probably woulda had him stuffed when it was his "time"..

I am just shocked he's getting so much per bird!!
I need to be in that business!!

Wonder what he's making the comb and wattles out of..
I wouldn't think they would taxidermy too well.
