I have never tried turkeys but am curious if you keep them secure at night or have a problem with predators free ranging as they are.
 
I have a G. Pyrenees that controls the property and keeps most predators at bay. The only thing that seems to slip in are the owls and hawks when the birds are younger.

This year I lost 100 birds to just hawks and owls.... but that's part of having good quality free range turkeys.

Turkey's hate sleeping in their pen at night they wouuld rather sleep out on the ground or in a tree.

Jeff : Looks great and yes allot of work but then again if it wasn't worth the effort I am sure you wouldn't have done it. Good luck.
