Oh my heck did I end up with a Guinea instead of a leghorn?

no they got sold,, i cant keep enough of them here,, people stop by every day to buy more lol ,,, and we ate 1

they make good roasts

EDIT: ta say i gotta update my chickens too,, got about 200 chicks in the nursery,, and probly 20 more for my flock

Hey Marlin - those are the babies that came from the eggs you sent me - in the pic FURTHER up - aren't they cute!???

I have heard a little "BuckWheat" going on (I think from only 2 of them) - I believe 4 are males

BUMMER - but I will wait to be sure.
They sound to me like a squeaky door needing some WD40!

I have two male Guineas that patrol the outside of my chicken pen. They have chased venomous snakes away, and a alerted the house when the coyote threatened. I do love Larry and Moe. Curly was picked up by a owl or something.

They look like the crazy joker on the new batman, kinda like a deranged clown! I'm sure we'll love it any ways, plus I can now have one more chicken because its not one, LOL.

Ok so how do I tell if its a boy or girl? I was thinking hen before I knew it was a guinea, LOL.

seeeeeee ,,,, thats what happened to me lol,, i could go get more, but the keets are more work to deal with then the adults hehe,, little things fly EVERYWHERE their not pose to be

Looks like a guinea to me. Mine are almost 8 weeks old and finally starting to get ugly.
