Oh, Willow...

I see younger kids reading Twilight which I find inappropriate for ANY age to read and poor writing at best, but the rest of the world finds it normal enough.

All depends on how you look at it. I see the song as a vaugely funny, mostly annoying pop ditty that's over and dead by now, as a pop song has a lifespan of 3 months.

Hehee...

I couldn't make it through the song -- it was way too repetetive for me.

I've started to read the first twilight, but I don't find it intresting. My mom will only let me read Twilight and New Moon. Not Eclipse or Breaking Dawn though. I've seen the movies Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse, but I am not aloud to see Breaking Dawn.

I won't let my kids read ANY of the series. I have no desire to encourage my children to read poorly written drivel. Bad enough they like Harry Potter which was ok, but not that good. But Twilight has no value from writing, poorly written at best, and thus, not for my kids. Nevermind the values that are shown in the book, some are EXTREMELY disturbing at best.

The movies? Well, so far, none of the kids have wanted to watch them. But movies are usually worse than the book, the books are horrible, so the movies likely have nothing going for them.

Actually, the movies are more appropriate than the books. The books go too far into detail. My Mom, actually is iffy with me reading the Twilight and New Moon. Luckily for her, I'm not intrested in the books.
