It's just me...I found Joe in a simi coma again the morning...It took 45 min to get him back this time... He's going down pretty fast now. This is 6 times in 2 mths now....I think I get a bit touchy from time to time lately...My bad.... Sorry....TM

Love him Toni! He has very nice type and feathering. That's something that I got to work on in my Barred also is ear lob color. The two Silver Crele birds that I got in my non-molting project has some very nice white ear lobs so I am going to breed that into my Barred and Red Crele.

I know we always talk about you and your bird hobby and how much we love that about you. But for me it's much more than that. I honestly consider you a very dear friend. You have been so kind over the years to me and Aimee and you both are just great people and very near to our hearts. So it really upset me to hear this this morning. Just got in from work and told Aimee and she said to more less pass along the same and a big ol hug to you. Anyway hope all gets better for the both of yall, and again let me know if you need anything.

Figured I'd share a few more chick pics this morning. I've been realy fortunate here recently to hit on some good combos in the breeding pens, and am just getting so awesome legs in chicks. here's a couple that hatched last night.






And she's not an ohiki, but Pokie wanted to say hi to Toni-Marie. She follows me every where, even in the first chick pic if you look close so figured I'd add her too haha, the little butter ball

Everyone's bird's are looking great! I need to get some new pictures of the birds I have. Got a Penciled project bird that pooped out! I also was so lucky to get a pair of birds from Toni Marie (thank you so much!) Two fibro hens and cock bird. I can't wait to get breeding next year and get some more nice fibro birds! Once this silly hurricane passes I will get some pictures for you all!

Toni- Marie told me she did send you some of those, that's great. You should be getting some nice birds hatching here before long. Good luck with them and stay safe up there, yall getting a taste of what we get down here for some wierd reason. Guess it'd be like us getting 4 foot of snow though...haha

That is great.. Glad to hear you have the birds.. Much nicer when we as breeders can help each other along, rather than having to start from scratch.. Will be looking forward to those pics Ian! And special Thanks to Toni for helping you out!

Well now that sandy has passed everyone is doing well here! I will have to post pics soon! The hens are so small and compact, the rooster is a gorgeous BB red Astin sweeper. He's going to give me all different combs, I can't wait to breed them! The hens are pea combed and one of them is a blue egg layer. We are going to keep them that way. I guess that makes them a different strain of ohiki, same type, just pea combed (which I thought was good for my northern climate). And I think it would be cool to keep them laying blue eggs, why fix what isn't broken?
