OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

I don't have any current pictures of my babies. :(
But I can tell you all about them.
We started out with 6 new Hampshire reds from rural king a couple of years ago just for some eggs to eat then it exploded into buy chicks from a hatchery. We don't have the original girls any more but we still have the hatchery ones which are -sliver lace Wyandotte, blue lace red Wyandotte, 3 Easter eggers, 2 Sussex, 2 black Australorps, golden comet, welsummer, and a white Cochin. I guess my theory was more chicks more eggs in the winter. Lol
Then of coarse I got the brilliant idea of making this whole chicken thing my special farm so we are adding more. We have added black copper marans, wheaten ameruacanas and we have a shipment of mottled ameruacana eggs coming. Crazy, I know, it's like you just can't stop with one.
Then of course my kids got on board and decided to purchase Ancona duck eggs to sell to raise money for college.
We are looking forward to this adventure and having the blessing from God in all of it.

You sound like many here. We started with 16 three yrs ago and a small purchased coop. Now two coop builds later and I currently have 38 birds and 18 in the incubator. Chicken math we call it here. You go to only get 4 and bring home 12.

I would love to see a blue splash maran looks like and a silver ameraucana too.

What beautiful babies! I had some Swedish flower chickens before but my hen was always running off so she became hawk lunch. :(
And rooster was aggressive so he went to a friend, he loves him even though he gets flogged often.

I picked up a Serama rooster the other week and then the same seller posted some 7 week old Seramas for sale. Guess who picked up a Serama pullet on Sunday? I actually sold one of my Silkie roosters for $10 last Monday and used $7 of it to buy my pullet. Now if only I could sell my other extra roosters to buy more pullets XD
