i do not know exactly where you are but I have a couple of turken mixes I need to get rid of.

I'm in liberty township north of Cincinnati. These are mixed with silkies. They will lay brown eggs. I also have another hen but right now she is my only one laying so can't get rid of her right now. They are comical and very entertaining a lot. I'd keep them but i am hatching out a ton of chicks right now and if I don't start thinning the flock I may be living in the coop with the chickens. I don't know if you want cockerels too. I have two turken mixed cockerels also. Well, one set is a pogirls (showgirls and polish) the other set are turken mixes.

im not sure where portage county is, but I have some misslabled pullets im selling. I bought them as California gray leghorns, but I believe they are white leghorns.

Here is a pic if my 8 week old.

im not real familiar with araucana breeding. but to put in some diversity, I would breed to a similar colored ee, then breed the daughters back to the rooster. I may also try crossing in something with a silver duckwing pattern that is close to the same size and weight.

I'll second that! I'm all excited -- six adorable little choco orps just hatched this morning, along with three creles! Yay for baby chickies!!!

Mlaff, what breeds in the pictures?

Okay, I see the ccls, but you've got something else in there too, I'm pretty darn sure. From a quick look at the pics yep, it does look like you got a bunch of boys -- one girl definitely (the clearly chipmunky one) and the fawn-ish colored one might turn out to be a girl, too. The silvery ones with the white spots on their heads should all be boys, but I've had one silvery chick surprise me and turn out to be a girl once. (Gave her to a friend -- one of the things I'm trying to breed for is very distinct m/f coloration at hatch). You've got a bunch of darker birds in there tho that don't look like cls to me (I'm hardly an expert, though) -- did you have a second breed mixed in?
