I'm not sure we saved their number but I'll check when I retrieve the phone from DH in the morning. Those pics are adorable! Glad they're coming out of their shells.

So today was kind of a bummer. Left our 13 five week old chicks out today while my DH was mowing the lawn. A cat ( the first I have ever seen in my neighborhood) jumped our fence grabbed my only female blue Cochin and jumped the back fence. Right in front of DH and the mower. He seems really upset and has ordered that no chicks free range till they are to big for that kind of "shenanigan" to take place. He is oddly protective of "those crazy birds that crap up our yard"

I love my coronation sussex! I'd like to try speckled sometime, too -- although the sussex is apparently notorious for maturing slowly. 7-8 months. Mine are 7 1/2 months now and absolutely HUGE! And still no eggs, lol! The boys just started crowing (or trying to) about ten days ago Silly things! But omg they're pretty

So sorry to hear you are having problems and are selling out. We have the same coop and it is high quality. $250 is more than a fair price. Can you just give your neightbors some eggs now and then to keep them happy?

May may not really be necesssary to fence your entire yard, you may be able to get away with a smaller run encircling your coop.

Hey, I just seen this! If you send them a PM on here and ask if they might have some for sale I'm sure they would be willing to sell a few. KYTINPUSHER
puts auctions up every so often and TNBEARCHICK is active on the front porch swing thread. BHEP I don't hear allot out of. She posts sometimes on the auction threads. That's the only way I really know how to get a hold of them. You could also check out the SFH thread. There's a bunch of breeders on there too. Hope that helps!
