here's a couple better pictures of the two new silkies that shaybaby brought me. The little pullet is starting to get a personality instead of laying around acting like in going to eat her all the time.

We bought some Silkie chicks on a whim (imagine that) at a local auction, mainly for the kids. Well I just love them! It has taken a little longer than expected to tame them but the splash pullet fell asleep on me while I was holding her the other day so we're definitely making progress. Just have the 3 now but I can easily envision more in our future! Hope you enjoy yours just as much!

Awww, see why I missed my silkies so much? There is nothing cuter than a silkie chick! Just imagine when I was running 300 with over half of them being adults! Cuteness overload, along with a lot of ugly overload for those teenage months!
