OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

i just realized i forgot to take pictures for you minihorse, i will do it tomorrow.

the black, creasted rooster with the golden hackles, what is that? i have a rooster here that looks almost identical, and have no idea of whats in it. i dont think hes quite as golden.

Okay...I promised pix of some of my black silkies, but I had to give up. No one would cooperate with picture day! So I shot this marginal video of them yesterday...really hot day and almost molting, but here it is! This roo is a youngster and so are the girls in his pen - I just set their first eggs last night

Here's the scoop on the Delaware Swap:

Champion Feed Store on Rte 36/37
Noon till 4 pm.
Bring your own everything (chairs, tables, chickens, etc)
Space is FREE!

If you know that you will be attending as a vendor, please let me know so I can give Scott, the manager, a tentative head count.
Let me know if you think of anything else that we may need...we are both newbies at this!

Yey! Finally got my polish. Now I just have to figure out when to get my Millie leghorns and I'm set with older chicks. Then I am getting rid of 16 to make room for the 26 eggs which will be in the incubator soon. Hahaha

Well, I traded two lavender orps for a pair of rhodebars plus I got 15 rhodebars eggs for $15.00. I don't think I did bad there. I'm now up to 4ccl pullets and 2ccl Roos and a pair of rhodebars. Minus 4 polish :D and 2 lavender orps. It's been a good day.

Welcome the the Ohio neighbor hood!! Not too far from you! Lots of knowledgeable & nice folks on here. Would like to invite you to the Swap that Stevens21 has organized. It is going to be sept 7 at Mt. Orab. Good time to meet and see what breeds everyone has! I will not be bringing anything this time, but will most definitely be bringing something home!
