OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

only thing im bringing is our little ruby she is our newborn pigmy goat. she likes to go for rides in the truck
How sweet. :) My Pygmy acts like I'm butchering her every time I even look her direction..
Hi everyone! Does anyone remember the little lonely Silver Campine chick that I hatched in June? Well the little chick turned out to be a rooster. He are some pictures of King at almost 3 months old.
Gorgeous!!
Just curious does anyone have any Aracucana hatching eggs? Looking for some pretty blue eggs to add to the flock.
I believe true Araucanas are pretty tough to find. EEs are the common knock-off (mutts). I recommend EE eggers from minihorse if you just want blue eggs (if she has any available.. :3). I've got 20 of her eggers going amazingly strong in the bators now. Some lovely blues.

should be able to supply more next Thursday. I dewormed everyone and don't like to sell any eggs for a time after that due to the dewormer.

Any time after the 14th would be good. I have a few Easter Eggers (which I LOVE) But I don't know what color they are going to lay until next month, though one I am sure is going to be green. I think I am going to drive my DH crazy because I love hatching lol

I'm going to figure out if I have any of the sex link egg layers left and ill let you know so you can tell your friend. Figure I really don't need them because I will be overloaded with new babies soon. Hehe. At least I hope. I can't wait til those polish start laying as well as my Millie leghorns. Ill be swimming in cuteness soon enough. Guess ill need a new incubator. A bigger incubator and more brooders to handle what will happen next spring.

Ok! That would be great! Appreciate it.

I do a little of both. I want to show several times next year but this year I was thinking of taking my porcelain d'uccle to the lucasville show in October. They will be 16.5 weeks then and I am afraid maybe to young. I am not sure what is acceptable by the show committees as the appropriate age to start showing them. Anyone who knows I would greatly appreciate the information. Figure the choc orps and the choc wyandottes can be shown AOV. The swedish flowers are most likely never going to be accepted as an APA breed. The BLRW are in the process of getting accepted over the next couple years thanks to Foley. The D'uccle, black orps, salmon favorelle, and BBS ameracaunas are showable. The choc AM's are a project that could be AOV. Oh and the CCL's and the rhodebars will possibly get accepted by the APA but I doubt it will be anytime soon.

You never know with me either, I might get a wild hair and sell them all at bargain basement prices when one makes me mad too! I tend to be short fused with the chickens and they all stay or the all go.
When you show, do you have to show a pair, or individually? My Porcelain rooster is beautiful and looks like he would be a good one to show. I don't know what the specs are for one, but he has the "puffed out breast", nice comb and his color is beautiful. I have never shown and not sure I want to go to the trouble. I can't see giving a chicken a bath!
