I do a little of both. I want to show several times next year but this year I was thinking of taking my porcelain d'uccle to the lucasville show in October. They will be 16.5 weeks then and I am afraid maybe to young. I am not sure what is acceptable by the show committees as the appropriate age to start showing them. Anyone who knows I would greatly appreciate the information. Figure the choc orps and the choc wyandottes can be shown AOV. The swedish flowers are most likely never going to be accepted as an APA breed. The BLRW are in the process of getting accepted over the next couple years thanks to Foley. The D'uccle, black orps, salmon favorelle, and BBS ameracaunas are showable. The choc AM's are a project that could be AOV. Oh and the CCL's and the rhodebars will possibly get accepted by the APA but I doubt it will be anytime soon.
You never know with me either, I might get a wild hair and sell them all at bargain basement prices when one makes me mad too! I tend to be short fused with the chickens and they all stay or the all go.
