I'm glad you're thrilled with them! Any money I earned today is going to build breeding pens for these chickens. I'd like to get all the bantams in pens of their own before winter hits because I know they will be laying before winter. Looks like I'll be hatching part of the winter to provide juveniles for spring swaps! Hopefully chocolate orps and wyandottes!

Does anyone on here know if I need to update Java? I'm not even sure what it is, but it keeps popping up to tell me I need to update. I says it is a security thing. It says it is "critical". When I tried to update, it went to mcafee security. I don't have mcafee. So I'm not sure what it is or if I need it. It tells me I do though!

Java is used to play flash layer on the internet. Some stuff may play incorrectly if it's outdated. Not sure about the mcafee though.

Tomorrow I'll try to get soe pictures of some stuff I've got. I'll take a picture of my EE roo that's from the same roo as yours so you can see how big (and pretty) he is.

I'm in Cleveland. Lucasville is 4 hours away while Delaware is 2 hours away. I'll have a better chance of going to the one in Delaware. I'd love to go just to see all the pretty chickens & make some friends with chickens. I literally have zero friends with chickens! They all think i'm weird/crazy because all I talk about is chickens. I'm still pretty new to chicken raising. I started about two months ago with chickens but I raised parrots years ago. I guess i always loved birds.

me and the family had a blast at the chicken swap,it was our first one...but promise it wont be the last,only bad thing was my wife told me nomore after only five new chickens

lol.but my flock grew from six to eleven.she fell in love with the silkies we got.and the rooster is outside crowin right now.i couldnt be happier.and it was nice meeting everyone.and seein all the different breeds of chickens out there.cant wait for the next swap.

I wish I could've gone, but on the upside, one of my lav am pullets just laid her first egg today. I'm debating between taking them to the Delaware swap or trying to find them a roo... Ah, decisions! I gotta scroll back through and see what people got...
