Coolness! Yeah, if I'm going to continue with them, I need to learn a lot more about them! :)

you said you wanted silky blue egg layers right? the first generations will all be splits but I can set you up with them splits or I can set ypu up with silkied in a couple generations

Either way would work. I found cuckoo silkie eggs. Lol now I just need more choc silkies. Hehe ill be busy this winter.

Hey I'm coming from West Virginia with my FFA Chapter and heading to Mt. Hope for the exotic sale and I was wondering if anyone was going to be there with anything for sale or trade.
Thanks from my FFA Family

It took me a while and a lot of help from fellow byc'ers to learn about the silkies. I got good enough i could sex then usually around 12 weeks. Wish i still had my old group. I had so many nice birds. Really wish i could remember the person who bought them all! She's on BYC but cannot remember her name. :barnie

does anyone have the names for somebody who does NPIP testing in Ohio readily available? I can't find the card that has the phone number for the lady that did mine last time and I need to get mine redone.

my broody hen and her chicks free ranging. These are the brothers/sisters to your OHhappychicks.
She is beautiful! I love her body form! I really like the rounded bodied breeds. I'm bugging my DH for a small outdoor pen to put the chicks in during the day. Poor man, I'm always trying to get him to do something for them! All of my other temporary pens are being used by the others I obtained from the swap. I just need 1 more.
