Minihorse927 ~ I'm so glad Buck is doing much better!! And congrats on your recent hatch!! If it were spring, and we had the building that we are moving here, I might take you up on some of the rhodies!

Update on buck. He's acting like his stifles are locking up. He can't bend his stifles or hocks. Ran through laminitis, tetanus, soreness, and EPM. Between me and a friend who has minis also, plus the Vet, we are down to an upper fixation of the patella due to soreness or laminitis. I ran the tetanus and EPM ideas by him along with everything that had happened since he started getting sick originally. He said he's leaning towards the upper fixation(which is our main belief also) or laminitis. Laminitis is not something we're thinking. He doesn't show and had never shown symptoms that are common. Plus it's very odd it's on his hind end only. The Vet is going to be here tomorrow between 11-12 to check him. Was instructed to keep him on banamine until he can see him. These horse are going to turn me grey before 30.

AWWW! I thought he was better!! I'm not familiar with horse ailments, so I hope upper fixation isn't serious.

It sounds good though. Moving the barn should be no problem for you! How big is it? If it is a big barn, I would come down to see that!!

I find it fascinating how that process is done!

its 20x24, i will probably just take it apart and re-assemble it down there. i hadnt finished it because i caught wind of our situation a while back. the hard part will be taking all the cages out, i built most of them to the walls. we did find a mobile home today, my DW is signing the paperwork tomorrow to have it moved and set up on the property.
