Where is Mt Hope?

I was wondering about the weather also. It was really nice here until about 3-4 this afternoon. Then the heavens opened up!!! Been raining hard since then.
Sounds like everyone had a great time today at the swap! They are pretty fun, getting to meet and see what everyone has!! Hopefully sometime we can all get together!

I went to the swap today, near the end. I guess I haven't been close to a chicken before because I didn't realize how big some of them get! Wow! My friend has silkies and they are tiny, in comparison.

She gave away a black silkie rooster today. Did anyone here get it?

My husband would prefer to have rabbits :-/ Maybe we will end up with both!

PS - we were the people wearing our babies.

Nice lady with blonde hair? She was parked next to us. Had a nice time talking to her. Glad she found a good home for him.

Sorry I missed you. We left around 2:30. Glad we went tho. Will definitely try to make it next year! Thanks to all who spent their time organizing it!

Where is Mt Hope?

Hmmm! That's about 2-3 hours from here. It's 2 days? If it's on Saturday, that's a possibility. That's pretty country this time of year. Maybe make an overnight of it??!! Will see.

It was fairly soggy, on and off, but so much fun it was worth getting wet!

As of now I'm planning to do the Mt. Hope swap -- I should have some more chicks in time for it. It'd be fun to see you again there, chickadee!
