OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

can you tell me what kind of chicken this is? it sure is pretty. --if i ever figure out how to post a picture
I would say lavender orpington but it could be a splash. Lighting isn't that great. Try to get some pictures of the bird that show the color in good sunlight.

This is the best i could do, these two chickens move a lot, i think they are a pair male and female one's got a red comb and waddles and one has a much lighter comb and almost no waddles, but i dunno what kind of chicken it is, it looks whiter in the sunlight, but it's more violet/grey then that blue Cochin rooster it's next to on the bottom picture, we don't know what they are because they came from the straight run 50% off bin of late hatchers at the hatchery. i hope this lighting helps, the angel sucks though they walked away whenever i tried to get closer, lol

Hello fellow Ohio peeps! We live in the Massillon area and started our flock this spring. Love this website and happy to have found this forum. Does anyone participate in 4H near Massillon (in Perry Twp)? My daughter is interested in showing her chickens. Thank you

Looking to rehome my Silver Appleyards. I have some military job changes coming in the future, and the wife wants to lessen our poultry workload.

I am near Orient, Ohio. Just south of Grove City. Asking $30 a bird. I have 11 Silver Appleyards available.

Thanks,

Cam

Edit: They are from holdderead stock, I received them as chicks from Oregon in early June.

Hello everyone, This adorable little guy is looking for a new home. We live in Perry TWP between Canton and Massillon near 77 and route 30. He is about 26 weeks old He is one of two bantam birds that we have. , the other being a Campine female. She is the only one he is able to mate and he is making her miserable (the rest of our girls are too large for him as he only stands about 6-8 inches tall lol). He either needs somewhere with more tiny girls or just big girls His wings are not clipped as he lives in a covered run. Please let me know if you are interested. To good pet home only. Thank you.

Autumn hearth I think my SS lay very pale pink almost white eggs while GLW are the darker brown. The larger eggs are from my one year olds from two days ago. Today I watched mt first banty EE lay a nice green egg.
