I would suggest maybe backing it with some welded wire. Many a chicken raiser has been astonished at where a coon can reach when it really wants to.

x2 I assumed the window was already covered in hardware cloth and that they wanted to cover it further to keep out snow..

I thought something like this would happen. The other day I was looking at the county fair site to get info on their bird exhibits and it was missing. It wasn't Poultry/Rabbits, just Rabbits.

Now where can I look at all the pretties and decide what else I need to add to my flock?

I joined a lot of chicken groups on facebook, my entire page is just pictures of chickens/eggs for sale.

Facebook. As sunshine said is awesome for that. I've seen so many breeds, even new rare ones, come across Facebook auctions!
