OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Well thanks to friend leslie, I want guiena s now. I have my 2 partridge silkie roos and my 2 sbowgirls. Now I want the cute guienas...anyone have any for sale
LOL! I will HAPPILY enable you in your new guinea obsession! The guineas usually start laying mid to late March so I should have chicks available April/May. Guineas are strict seasonal layers, so I just patiently wait for them to start earning their keep. I do have my females (pied) in the breeding coop, Fowlcatraz, with one of the males (white), so anytime that they are ready............Once they start I will have a steady supply of chicks/eggs until November, God willing!

I'm just north and west of Dayton in preble county looking to add to my flock. I have some LF barred cochins and a bunch of EE's and a Phoenix pair a couple of silkie hens (I like diversity) I just want to see what anyone in the Dayton area has for sale.

I just got an email from Purina, anyone in the NE OHio area, my OSU extension is hosting a poultry owners workshop!!!! Here's the info! last year they had over 100 people they said.

Hello, neighbor! I am just north of you in Greenville.

Between a friend and I, we have TONS of different breeds, many of them super-rare, just imported in the last two years, breeds. PM me with your wanted breeds, and I will see what we have.

Hi, Ohio friends!! I got a couple of replies to my plea of an "egg caravan" of sorts, to pick up hatching eggs from Ashtabula and get them as close to SE Michigan as possible. (I am in mid-Michigan, but cannot be away from my home more than 8-9 hours in a day).

THANK YOU very much to those who replied. But, it seems it's not going to work out.

Now, I am looking for either:

1) Anyone who may be near Ashtabula who could possible pick eggs up from a breeder there and get them to (or near) Polk, where TheCrazyChick can pick them up and bring them close enough for me to pick up (this would need to happen on 3/18 or 3/19...)

2) Anyone who may be near Ashtabula who would be willing to pick the eggs up from the breeder, and then package & ship them directly to me. This is actually the better option.

The situation is that the breeder shiped eggs once in the past and it was a very bad experience for him, so he's unwilling to try again (DRATS!).

Anyone that is even close to Ashtabula - I'll pay your gas & a bit extra if you're willing to pick up the eggs for me & get them boxed up & shipped to me (and of course I'll pay shipping as well!). I don't have a lot of extra money, but I really REALLY need these hatching eggs, and will do all I can to get them.

THANKS!!!
