OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Well the poor thing died while i was out at the store. We did tape the other chick's feet to take care of the curled toes. Hopefully it works and can will be running around soon.

Thank you. It was hard for both me and my daughter bu then she reminded me that if we were supposed to have it God would have let it live. She had a funeral and then we went to wrap up the other chicks feet. Just got back from another Rural King with 6 new chicks. 2 Americana, 2 light barahmas, and 2 little black ones the guy thinks are barred rocks.

I really only need 3 of them so if anyone one wants I am going to sell one of each one for the $2 I paid for them. DH isn't very happy about me getting the new ones considering I am meeting the breeder in a couple of weeks.

I don't know if anyone's interested, but I've got a small flock of a dozen juvenile blue Andalusians for sale (2 to 3 1/2 months old). I just listed them in the classifieds here at https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/778093/blue-andalusian-flock-8-weeks-to-3-1-2-months

They're also on the Mansfield Craigslist along with some other birds at http://mansfield.craigslist.org/grd/3789967274.html -- I've got a hundred eggs hatching next week, I need to make some room!

Ha ha I'm finding that out quickly!

We started with 8 straight run barred rocks and 5 leghorns. Thankfully all the leghorns are pullets but we only got 1 rock pullet :/. We are thinking that we will keep one rock roo and harvest the rest of them

I'm wanting to order some pullets from Murray McMurray and get some different breeds but don't know if we can meet the 15 chick minimum. Also wondering how/if we would be able to integrate younger birds into our flock that is around 10 weeks old now. Is that do able?
