OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

That's so wonderful! I'm hoping a few of my silkies will prove to be serial broodies -- that's what I got them for! And to be cute -- they excel at being cute :love

They are very easy to fall in love with:D

lol I have a brinsea, only used it once... didnt have great results...1 of 7 hatched.... and it hatched on day 19.
Would much rather use a broody, but I have none at this time and got a great price on some cream legbar eggs.
So I am giving it a try again!!!!
if this was large fowl - sounds like your temperature was to high. if the same thing happens again drop it back a degree.

we love to see fresh new addicts. looks like buff orpingtons, am I right?

Number 2 is out. They are soo cutr. But they are sitting on the 3rd egg that started to zip.

as long as they aren't beating it around to bad, leave it alone.. if they are rolling it all over the incubator, take them out but mist the eggs.

The incubator was pretty full to begin with so they are just hanging out on the eggs. I have two out, one almost out, one who is starting to zip, and one who pipped but hasn't done anything all day. I will have to take them out on sat morning. Since it is then 72 hours since the first hatched. I'm hoping the ccl eggs follow suit and just start popping out on Friday (day 20). Would make it a lot less stressful on me.:D
