OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Plus look at how full the crests are.  The one boy has a tiny one and the other boy has a decent one but not as large as the girls.

On a side note, I found project chocolate ameracauna LF!  The coronation sussex might be for sale after all...

The same person has chocolate silkie eggs. I tend to bid and then forget to go back and look. :( think I may see if she would be willing to just sell some otherwise I don't think ill be getting them anytime soon.

No one bid on the LF ameracaunas so I sent them a PM. Fingers crossed they PM me back! I've got 3-4 black AM's and 2 blue AM's and I was looking for a project for them. I though about crossing the choco orps over when they got old enough and then here I find some already started!

I know I was excited when I saw the silkies. I just forget to check back after bidding. I'd be happy with a dozen. Guess its a good thing because I have a week coming up where I won't be home for about 14 hours each day. Training for my new job and school will keep me too busy to even think about the incubator.

Anyone know of a place to get a couple blue egg laying hens in northeast Ohio? A lot of hatcheries have ameracaunas but most are really olive eggers. I really just want two pullets or hens that have been well bred to lay blue eggs. I would even take chicks if they came from someone reliable. It may seem silly but I would really like a rainbow of eggs.

Where did you salmon favorelles come from?
they came from a breeder line in western Ky. im not sure of the farm name but I can find out. unfortunately I don't know what I have in salmon faverolles yet. I have a true mess in one pen, the salmon faverolles, Russian orloffs, sweedish flower (if I have any) basque chicks, golden cuckoo marans, and black ameraucanas. - the aracaunas are easy to spot for obvious reasons. the rest have had me scratching my head for over a month. I separated out a pair of what I thought were orloffs, and realized one has feathered legs

I am constantly on the search too. I am ordering some soon to hatch here at my house. I can keep you updated of you'd like!
